Walking With The Wounded supports those who served
The Cumbrian Challenge is our annual flagship fundraising event for individuals, organisations and companies who want to show their support and experience a memorable team-building weekend in the Lake District alongside our beneficiaries.
We target those who have fallen the furthest, men and women struggling with mental health issues, unemployment, homelessness or caught in police custody. By providing early intervention programmes and speeding up access to therapy we are changing the lives of veterans and, crucially, their families.

Friday 17th - Saturday 18th May 2024
Route Options
Peak: 11km, 650m ascent, Tough: 21km, 1,400m ascent, Tougher: 28km, 1,700m ascent, Next Generation: 20km, 1,000m ascent. View all route options here.
Cost
£150 Early Bird / £75 Next Generation Early Bird per team (teams of three or four).
Military Teams (Serving)
For serving military and reservists (£150 team entry). Email events.team@wwtw.org.uk
Fundraising
Each team (of 3 or 4) is challenged to raise £2,200 (Next Generation teams £1,100) to support a veteran from social isolation back into society. You'll be amazed what you can achieve as a team.

Grasmere Sports Ground, Grasmere, Cumbria LA22 9SL.
Camping
£25 per person to camp for the weekend. Follow the prompt when registering your team.
Age Restriction
13+ on Next Generation, all other routes 18+. Dogs welcome.
