I’m taking part in the Cumbrian Challenge to support Walking With The Wounded, a cause that helps veterans rebuild their lives after service. As an ultra runner, I’m more used to pushing through miles at pace, but this time I’m slowing it down to walk, stand alongside others, and raise money for something that makes a real difference. It also marks my first major event since prostate cancer surgery last year, so it feels especially meaningful to be back out there, doing something positive and purposeful, which I’m sure resonates with this charity.
