This year will be my fourth time taking part in the Walking With The Wounded Cumbrian Challenge. As a reservist from a service family, with many ex-service friends, family and colleagues, it is a cause very close to my heart.
Thank you to everyone who supported me so generously last year. Your support really mattered.
I’m taking part again because the need is still there. Walking With The Wounded helps veterans facing some of the toughest challenges after leaving the Armed Forces, including mental health struggles, unemployment, homelessness and involvement with the justice system. Their work changes lives, not only for veterans, but for their families too.
This year, more than 150 DXC colleagues will be taking on the Lake District peaks in teams of four or five to raise money for this vital charity.
If you are able to support us, whether it is £5 or £50, it will make a real difference and help ensure Walking With The Wounded can continue their life-changing work.
Thank you again for your support. Every step we take helps a veteran take their next one.
