I’m taking part in this challenge in solidarity with DXC’s close connection to the veteran community, but also because of my own family’s ties to the Armed Forces. My dad served in the RAF, and his service is something I’m incredibly proud of. It’s a legacy of dedication and sacrifice that I feel strongly about honouring.
Through that connection, I’ve also come to understand the challenges many veterans face after their service. That’s why charities like Walking With The Wounded are so important. Their work provides vital support to those who have given so much, helping veterans rebuild their lives and find new purpose beyond their military careers.
The impact they have on individuals and families across the country is truly remarkable, and it’s something my family (and many others) deeply appreciate. Taking part in this event is my way of showing support and helping ensure that veterans continue to receive the assistance they deserve.
