Hi, my name is James. I served for 10 years in the King’s Royal Hussars, and supporting Walking with The Wounded means a great deal to me personally.
During my time in the Army, I saw first-hand the strength, resilience and camaraderie that exists within the military community. But I also know that service comes with sacrifices — not just for those who wear the uniform, but for their families too.
Sadly, I’ve lost friends from my time serving and causes like Walking With The Wounded help support veterans and their families who are rebuilding their lives after service.
That’s why my team, Tank Boy and the Misfits, are taking on the Cumbrian Challenge. If it means a bit of pain and sore legs for us along the way, it’s a small price to pay to help raise funds for such an important cause.
