I’m taking part in the Walking With The Wounded Cumbrian Challenge because I want to actively support those who’ve served our country and now face the often‑tough transition back into civilian life. I’ll be tackling the 27km route, pushing myself in recognition of the resilience shown by the men and women this charity stands behind. Walking With The Wounded provides vital support to ex‑service personnel, helping them rebuild their lives through employment programmes, mental‑health services, and assistance for those who are wounded, injured, or struggling after their time in the Armed Forces. Taking on this challenge is my way of contributing to the life‑changing work they do every day.
