I’m taking part in the 2026 Walking With The Wounded Cumbrian Challenge this May as both a personal test and a cause I genuinely believe in. As a former Royal Navy submariner, supporting the armed forces community still means a great deal to me, and I’ve seen first-hand through a close friend just how powerful the charity’s support can be for veterans rebuilding their lives. This will be my fifth year at the event, and each time it’s a reminder of the resilience, camaraderie, and shared purpose that makes it so special.
