Raising Money For

This is such a worthy charity to support on behalf of the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers (aka The London Guild of shoemakers, of which Caroline is a Freeman through her business Mandarina Shoes).

The great outdoors has remarkable healing properties and our brave ex-military deserve our support. My father David Lloyd-Jones was a career army officer and commanded the Lancashire Fusiliers. I hope he would be proud of his daughter and granddaughter, Emily Townsend, taking part in this challenge, along with my husband Hugh and my best friend Fiona Leslie. Fiona is walking this with us in memory of her late brother David, Scots Guards. Her son Lochy de Klee is a serving officer with the Coldstream Guards and carried the King's Colours at the Coronation - his Grandfather commanded the Scots Guards and founded G Squadron SAS. Emily's father was a Royal Marine Commando and fought in the Falklands War, so we have a lot of brave military connections between us - no pressure then team!! Go Mandarina! And of course huge thanks to anyone who supports us with a donation.
