Alternative Ways to Donate
By Media Team on
Whilst fundraising is one of the most popular ways of donating to charity as it often gives people the opportunity to take on a new challenge, there are also a range of other ways you can donate. No matter how often or how much you want to donate, there’s a method for everyone.
1. Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is one of the easiest, and most cost-effective ways of donating to a cause close to your heart. With Payroll Giving, your donation is taken directly from your wage before tax, so once set up, doesn’t require you to do anything else! It’s quick and easy to set up, and one of the biggest advantages to Payroll Giving is that it comes to us as a charity inclusive of the income tax you would have paid, without any additional cost to you.
2. Regular Giving
Regular Giving is essential as it helps us plan ahead for supporting those who served. By giving a regular gift, you are contributing to the longevity of our charity, ensuring we can continue providing our services to veterans in need. There is no rule when it comes to Regular Giving, you can donate as much or as little as you want, and in regular intervals that suit you whether that be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually.
3. Donate in Memory
In Memory donations are a way to honour a loved one with a gift of support. Many people find comfort in remembering a loved one by supporting a cause they cared about and see it as a way to keep their memory alive. In Memory donations are extremely special, and can be created as a tribute fund, where friends and family can also share memories of their loved one.
4. Gifts in Wills
Gifts in Wills are a way to continue supporting a charity, even after you’ve gone. There are many ways to donate through Gifts in Wills including leaving a set sum of money, a percentage of your assets, or a specific item which we would then sell. We are extremely grateful for all Gifts in Wills, no matter how big or small, and are honoured when donors choose for their legacy to live on through us.
However you choose to donate, we appreciate all donations in allowing us to continue offering our vital services and supporting those who served.
