Countdown on to Cumbrian Challenge 2025
By Media Team on
Are you ready? Our famous Cumbrian Challenge is back, and this year it’s bigger than ever!
Almost 200 teams are already signed up but, don’t worry, there is still time to sign up if you still haven’t committed. Experience a truly memorable team-building weekend in the Lake District alongside Walking With The Wounded staff and volunteers.
Even better, this year we have added a new route, especially for our younger supporters: Next Generation. Be one of the first to experience this fun and challenging scenic route.
Whether this is your first time tackling the hills, or you’re a seasoned Cumbrian Challenge participant, we are delighted to have you on board for this year’s event, and our Head of Events and Partnerships, James, is here with a special welcome message.
It’s not just an amazing weekend with a stunning backdrop for a fun and fulfilling challenge. Thanks to the dedication of people like you, we can continue to reach more ex-service personnel throughout the UK to provide them with the support they need and deserve.
From mental health and wellbeing support to personalised employment assistance and care coordination, our services enable us to empower veterans by reigniting their sense of purpose and allowing them to find their place in society after leaving the forces. Now in our 15th year, we are proud of all we have done so far to support ex-service personnel and their families throughout the UK, but we know we can do even more.
You really make a difference.
